Turgutkoy or Turgut is the next small village along the coast, down the Bozburun Peninsula from Orhaniye. There is a beach, a few simple tourist restaurants and a low-rise hotel called the Mulberry Tree Hotel that is integrated well with the surrounding restaurants.

On the main road just beyond Turgutkoy is a water fall and the carpet weavers association outlet. Blue Cruises are available from nearby Bozburun.

This is the safest place to buy quality carpets and kilims in Turkey if you have not done it before, although you should still expect to haggle. Prices can be anything from tens of pounds for a cotton kilim to several thousand pounds for a silk carpet.
